Who writes this site
All content is written and edited by Waseem Sajad, who builds and runs AURAWELLNESS.fit. He is not a doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist, or licensed health professional, and this site does not claim otherwise anywhere.
That matters, so we will be direct about what it means. This site is a careful, well-sourced summary of published health guidance written by an informed non-clinician. It is not a substitute for a professional who can examine you, and it should not be the last thing you read before making a decision about your health.
An earlier version of this site attributed articles to invented medical personas with fabricated credentials. That was wrong, and it was removed in July 2026. We mention it here rather than quietly moving on, because a site asking you to trust its health content should be honest about the times it has not earned that trust.
Where our numbers come from
Every formula used in a calculator is named on the page that uses it, along with who published it and when. We use established, peer-reviewed equations rather than inventing our own: the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for resting energy expenditure, the US Navy circumference method for body-fat estimation, the Compendium of Physical Activities for MET values, and so on.
Health claims are sourced to primary literature or to national and international health bodies — the WHO, the NIH and its institutes, the NHS, ACOG, the American Heart Association, the American College of Sports Medicine. Reference lists appear at the foot of the relevant pages and link out directly so you can read the source yourself rather than take our word for it.
Where the evidence is genuinely uncertain or contested, we say so rather than picking the tidier answer. Where a rule of thumb is a rule of thumb — 35 ml of water per kilogram of body weight, for instance — we label it as one instead of dressing it up as a clinical threshold.
What we will not publish
No diagnosis, no treatment plans, no dosing advice, and no personalised prescriptions of any kind. No claims that a food, supplement, exercise, or routine cures, treats, or prevents a disease. No before-and-after transformation marketing. No "detox", no "boost your metabolism", no fat-burning foods.
We also avoid the softer failure mode: implying certainty that the research does not support. A meta-analysis showing a modest average effect gets described as a modest average effect, not as a breakthrough.
We do not publish guest posts, sponsored articles, affiliate placements, or paid links. The site is funded by Google AdSense advertising, which is served alongside content and has no influence on it. No advertiser has ever been shown an article before publication or asked for a change to one.
Review and updates
Every page is re-read on a rolling basis and checked against current guidance from the bodies listed above. Each article shows the date it was last reviewed, and that date only moves when the page has actually been re-examined — it is not bumped automatically at build time to look fresh.
All outbound citations are automatically checked to confirm they still resolve. A dead or redirected reference is treated as a defect and either replaced with a live equivalent or removed.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to know: email aurawellness.fit@gmail.com with the page and what you believe is inaccurate. Corrections take priority over everything else in the inbox.
Material factual errors are fixed and noted, not silently overwritten. Typos, formatting problems, and clarifications that do not change meaning are simply fixed. If a correction changes the substance of a recommendation, the page will say so.
Independence
AURAWELLNESS.fit is independently owned and operated. It sells no products, takes no commissions on anything it recommends, and has no commercial relationship with any supplement, equipment, food, or pharmaceutical company.
