Who we are
AURAWELLNESS.fit ("the Service", "we", "us") is a wellness service operated by AURAWELLNESS.fit. We provide guided exercises and habit-building tools to help people build lasting wellness habits and keep our community healthy and fit.

Data we collect
Account data: when you create an account we store your display name, email address, and avatar URL to identify you and attribute the content you post.
Health and wellness data you enter: BMI/body measurements, hydration, sleep, mood and stress, menstrual-cycle symptoms, workouts, and saved routines. You choose what to log; you can leave any of it blank.
Content you publish: forum posts, comments, and reviews — these are public and visible to other users alongside your display name and avatar.
Usage analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregated usage events (screens viewed, features used) tied to a random/account identifier. We do not send your name or email to analytics.
How we use your data
To provide the Service: store your logs, show your trends, generate calculator results and AI suggestions, and sync your data across devices when you sign in.
To operate the community: display your public posts, comments, and reviews.
To improve the Service: understand which features are used (only with your analytics consent).
Legal basis
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your data on the basis of: performing our contract with you (running the app you signed up for); your consent (analytics, advertising, and any health data you choose to enter); and our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and functional.
Health and cycle data are sensitive ("special category") data. We process them only because you choose to enter them, and you can delete them at any time.
Where your data is stored
Guest mode: if you are not signed in, your logs stay in your browser (localStorage) on your device and are not sent to us.
Signed-in mode: your data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), in a United States region. Your personal logs live under your account and are protected by access rules so only you can read or write them.
Third parties we share with
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore): hosting and storage of your account and data.
Google Analytics for Firebase: aggregated usage analytics — loaded only if you accept analytics cookies.
Google Gemini (AI): when you use the AI Coach or AI meal plans, the details you enter for that request are sent to the AI provider to generate a response.
Google AdSense: advertising shown on our free public content pages (calculators, guides, charts). The app itself is ad-free.
We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies & consent
On your first visit we ask whether to enable analytics cookies. Until you accept, no analytics scripts are loaded. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the app.
Advertising appears only on our free public content pages (calculators, guides, charts), not inside the app.
Essential storage needed to run the app (such as your session and your saved preferences) is always used and does not require consent.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or 30 days unless a longer period is required by law.
When you delete your account it enters a 30-day grace period: you can sign back in within 30 days to recover it. After 30 days your private data (profile and all health logs) is permanently erased and your sign-in account is removed. Your past public posts and reviews may remain, attributed to your former display name, unless you delete them first.
Your rights
You can access and export a copy of your data ("Download my data" in Settings), correct it, delete it, and withdraw consent for analytics/advertising at any time.
To exercise any right, use the in-app controls or contact aurawellness.fit@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
The Service is not directed to children. You must meet the minimum age required in your country (at least 16, or the age set by local law) to create an account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date (currently June 21, 2026).
